Meet the Team
Founder & CEO
Hello and welcome to CountryCanines.
My name is Sarah and I am the owner of CountryCanines.
I decided to set up CountryCanines because of my love for dogs. I have spent the last six years of my life working towards this venture. Qualified as an Animal Nurse Assistant & Dog groomer at Level 3, the next step for me was setting up my own dog daycare business. I spent a lot of time planning how I wanted the daycare to be. I wanted to take a different approach to the typical "Doggy Daycare" and move away from the idea of your dog being inside all day.
DOGS LOVE THE OUTDOORS!
That's why I have created CountryCanines, an outdoor based daycare and adventure centre. What could be more fun for your dog than wide open spaces to run around until their heart is content?
We strive to give your dog love, freedom and endless adventures during their time at CountryCanines.
Hi, I’m Daisy and I’ve been a daycare assistant at Country Canines since June 2020 after completing my A-levels.
I am enjoying every second here and always look forward to my days full of playing and looking after the dogs.
I have always had a huge love for dogs and even after a short amount of time I am learning so much from Sarah and Imogen at the daycare.
I have a love for the outdoors, walking and camping and one day hope to have my own van so I can travel around. I also love going to festivals and gigs with my friends and family.
I love getting dirty with the dogs and watching the pups grow and learn as time goes on.
Hi! I’m Imogen, the manager of CountryCanines.
I’ve been here since October 2019 after previously working as a hairdresser.
I decided to have a career change because I hated being stuck indoors and not being able to go outside when I wanted. Now I am so happy, I feel like a massive weight has been lifted off my shoulders and it's so refreshing being at the daycare with all the lovely pups.
I love camping and exploring, I spent a year in New Zealand travelling around in a 4x4 which was so exciting, but also hard not having a shower for weeks at a time! Now I live back in England, I bought a campervan with my boyfriend so we can go on lots of little weekends away, exploring the lakes and hopefully overseas at some point.
I love tying my hair up in a top-knot and getting my hands dirty. I’m not afraid of hard work and am looking forward to being a part of CountryCanines as it grows.
Hi I’m Lucinda, a daycare assistant here at Country Canines.
I gained a triple distinction in my level 3 animal management course earlier this year and have worked in a dog kennels as an assistant for the last 4 years.
I am a huge fan of the great outdoors and love spending time in nature. My favourite thing to do, is going out on big adventures with my dog Hunter, exploring new places and going on camping trips around the country.
Working at Country Canines has been so refreshing for me and I love being surrounded by all the dogs and getting to know each of their personalities. I’m so glad to be a part of this team.
Hi, my name is Jodi!
I’m a volunteer here at Country Canines. I love being around dogs and getting mucky. I especially love the outdoors.
When I heard about Country Canines being an outdoor daycare I thought, “YES! I’d love to work there with all those dogs!” I’m a student at Myerscough college currently studying animal care. The fact that I could use this for my work experience is great.
The thing I love most about being here is spending time and interacting with all the different dogs. I’ve always loved being around animals, especially dogs!
Hi my name is Gracie.
I’m a volunteer at CountryCanines, whilst studying animals at Myerscough college in Preston.
I decided to volunteer here because I’ve always loved being around animals, especially dogs.
I love being outside, spending time and getting to know each of the dogs and getting stuck in and covered in mud, (which happens a lot).
